This is a DFD diagram which provides a description of the function in the ITS environment

Overview

This High-level Function shall be responsible for managing the whole process of fleet operations and associated tasks.  Its scope of activities shall typically comprise:  plan preparation, resource management and operation follow up.  The Function shall consist of the following lower level Functions:

    Component lower level functions

    These three Functions are responsible for the management of the fleet of freight vehicles so that they can transport goods. They directly communicate with each other using the Data Flows between them, and have a some communications with other functionality in the Area and with the Fleet Operator terminator. The Functions and Data Flows are contained in the DFD for Function 8.2.2 - DFD 8.2.2.
