This Function shall be capable of providing the following facilities:<br/><br/>(1) The ability to continuously monitor the use of each parking place in a Holding Zone.<br/>(2) The ability for its sensors to detect that a Vehicle is occupying a parking place and to use the data from the sensors to determine the Vehicle identity.<br/>(3) The ability to send the determined identity to the Manage Loading or Unloading Zone Bookings Function. <br/>
(a) continuously monitor for receipt of either of the input data flows;<br/>(b) when either of the data flows in (a) is received, use its contents to determine the identity of the vehicle has changed;<br/>(c) if a change is detected in (b) store the new vehicle identity locally and send it to the Manage Loading or Unloading Zone Bookings function in the freight vehicle identity for holding zone data flow.<br/>
