This Function shall be capable of providing the following facilities:<br/><br/>(1) Manage the content of the store of Freight Terminal Area Facilities Data.<br/>(2) Periodically request an update of the content of the Data Store from the Freight Terminal Area Facilities Terminator.<br/>(3) When requested by the Freight Transport Operations Manager provide details of the facilities available at one or more Freight Terminal Areas which the Manager can then include with the data objects used to prepare a Freight Transport Execution Plan.<br/>(4) When requested by other functionality in the Manage Freight and Fleet Operations Area provide details of the facilities available at one or more Freight Terminal Areas for use in the implementation of a Freight Transport Execution Plan.<br/>
(a) continuously monitor for receipt of the request FTA facilities for FTOM data flow;<br/>(b) when the data flow in (a) is received, check the content of the FTA Facilities Data Store, and if the relevant FTA facilities data is present sent it to the Provide FTOM Interface function in the requested FTA facilities for FTOM data flow;<br/>(c) if the relevant FTA facilities data is not present in the FTA Facilities Data Store, send a request for it in the request FTA facilities information data flow to the FTA Terminator;<br/>(d) as a result of (c) continuously monitor for receipt of the requested FTA facilities information data flow from the FTA Terminator<br/>(e) when the data flow in (d) is received load its content into the FTA Facilities Data Store and send it to the Provide FTOM Interface function in the requested FTA facilities for FTOM data flow.<br/>
