This Function shall be capable of providing the following facilities:<br/><br/>(1) Upon receiving an enquiry for information about parking available at one or more rest areas, the ability to request details of the parking that is available.<br/>(2) The ability to respond to the enquiry with information about the parking available at the specified rest areas.<br/>
(a) continuously monitor for receipt of the rest area parking request data flow from the Find Suitable Rest Area function;<br/>(b) when the data flow in (a) is received get details about the rest areas identified in the data flow from the Manage Inter-urban Service Area Data Store function using the request data for service area data flow;<br/>(c) as a result of (b) continuously monitor for receipt of the requested data for service area data flow from the Manage Inter-urban Service Area Data Store function;<br/>(d) when the data flow in (c) is received check its contents and if the rest area is capable of accommodating the freight vehicle specified by the data flow received in (a);<br/>(e) if the answer to the check in (d) is YES#lt; then send confirmation of this to the Find Suitable Rest Area function in the rest area parking response data flow.<br/><br/>
