Description

It contains the data that is being provided by the In-vehicle Systems to the System for use by its functionality.  As a minimum, this data shall include such things as the status of the power unit, drive train, safety systems (air bags, seat belt tensioners, etc.), brakes (including ABS operation), lights (to indicate darkness), windscreen wipers (to indicate precipitation), turn indicators (if operating in which direction) and steering wheel (direction in which they are pointing relative to the Vehicle), plus weather data such as temperature, presence of a load (heavy goods vehicles only), towing a trailer, and static data such as Vehicle size and weight.
