Overview

This Function shall be capable of providing the following facilities:

(1) An HMI through which the Transport Planner can manage a variety of activities.
(2) The ability for the activities to include the creation of new demand management strategies, the review of previously activated strategies and the simulation of existing strategies.

Functional Requirements

(a) continuously monitor for the arrival of any of the data flows from the transport planner
(b) when any of the data flows in (a) is received, process its contents and send the appropriate request data flow to its destination function
(c) wait for the data flow containing the response to (b) to arrive
(d) when the response data flow in (c) arrives output its contents to the transport planner in the appropriate output data flow.
